The event highlighted women entrepreneurs driving growth in border trade and clean energy, from off-grid electrification to renewable startups.
Speakers emphasized inclusive policies, financing, and mentorship to empower women-led enterprises.
H.E. Chesney affirmed, “Development that excludes women is delayed development.” Hon. Nankabirwa welcomed support for women in minerals, energy, and trade, urging stronger UK-Uganda partnerships to foster equitable growth and inclusive economic transformation.
