Western Region, 23 August 2025: The Geoscience team is conducting a field geological assessment and ground verification of identified artisanal mining zones in the Ankole and Kigezi regions. The exercise also includes the verification of mineral investment data, supporting accurate mapping of resources and informed decision-making for the sector’s sustainable development.
