Invest Finance Catalyst to strengthen Uganda’s mini-grid framework under the Energy Policy 2023.
The program targeted 17 Ugandan renewable energy companies, equipping them with finance fundamentals, business case development, and investor readiness tools.
Using templates, case studies, and practical exercises, participants gained insights into making projects bankable.
Companies trained included Mandulis Energy, NOA Uganda, City Harvest, Kambasco, Fres Uganda, Archelis, Veracity Energies, Ceylex, and China Jiangxi.
The initiative fosters local expertise and supports sustainable energy solutions through greater private sector participation.
