Kololo, 7 July 2025: The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) joined national celebrations for the 14th Africa Public Service Day at Kololo Grounds under the theme: “Enhancing Agility and Resilience of Public Institutions.” Led by Permanent Secretary Eng. Irene Bateebe.
MEMD showcased its services, highlighting its role in sustainable development. The day began with a staff march from Amber House, accompanied by the Uganda Prisons Band. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja officiated the event, emphasizing peace, governance, and development.
MEMD’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to improved service delivery in energy and minerals, aligned with Uganda’s development and SDG goals.
