Hoima City, 20 August 2025: A 14-member delegation from the Public Service Commission (PSC), led by Chairperson Ms. Winnie Agness Kabogoza Musoke, contacted a two-day familiarisation tour of oil and gas projects in the Albertine Graben, hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD).
The team, guided by Mr. Frank Mugisha, Ag. Commissioner, PEDPD, visited Pump Station One, the Kingfisher Development Area, the NEC-operated waste management facility in Luwero, and the Kabalega Industrial Park, with a stop at the airport tarmac.
At a dinner hosted at Miika Eco Resort, Ms. Kabogoza thanked MEMD for the eye-opening experience, noting the visit dispelled doubts about oil production in Uganda and gave commissioners a deeper appreciation of the projects and people involved.
